The 24th-ranked Wesleyan volleyball team is returning to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championships for a third consecutive season as the Cardinals (20-4) earned an at-large bid to the tournament today. Wesleyan will play St. John Fisher (23-10) in the First Round this Friday, November 15 at regional host Clarkson.

For the third-straight season, the Wesleyan volleyball team has advanced to the NESCAC Semifinals as the second-seeded Cardinals swept the No. 7 seed, Bates, by scores of 25-8, 25-17, and 25-22 on Friday night at the host school, Tufts.
For the third consecutive season, the Wesleyan volleyball team (19-3, 9-1 NESCAC) secured the No. 2 seed in the NESCAC Tournament and will play seventh-seeded Bates (16-9, 4-6 NESCAC) in a rematch of last year’s quarterfinals. The match is scheduled for Friday, November 8 at 5 p.m. Tufts earned the top seed and will host the three-day tournament with the championship scheduled for Sunday, November 10 at 12 p.m.
The 20th-ranked Wesleyan volleyball team lost to Ithaca in five-sets on Saturday afternoon in the team’s regular-season finale. The Cardinals took a 2-0 lead in the match with wins of 25-21 and 25-22, but the Bombers responded with three-straight victories of 25-23, 25-18, and 15-10.
After dropping the first set, the 19th-ranked Wesleyan volleyball team rallied with three-straight wins to defeat Hamilton on Saturday afternoon in its final NESCAC match of the regular season, 3-1. The Cardinals won by scores of 24-26, 25-20, 25-18, 25-22.
