Cardinals Lose to No. 21 Franklin & Marshall, 8-1

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The 20th-ranked Wesleyan women's squash team hosted No. 21 Franklin & Marshall on Saturday afternoon on Day 2 of the Wesleyan Round Robin, and fell 8-1. With the loss, the Cardinals are now 1-2 on the season.


  • Aditi Prasad picked up the lone win for Wesleyan, claiming a 3-2 thrilling victory in the No. 1 spot. After dropping the first set (11-6), she responded nicely and took the match by scores of 11-3, 11-3, 8-11, 11-5 over Ellen Verry.
  • Wesleyan was swept in the No. 2 spot, as well as No. 4-9.
  • At No. 3, Nina Premutico dropped a 3-1 match by scores of 11-4, 8-11, 11-4, 11-8.


  • The Cardinals are back in action tomorrow for the final day of the Wesleyan Round Robin and will host No. 17 Dickinson at 9 a.m. followed by No. 37 Bard at 1 p.m.
