The fifth-ranked Wesleyan University women's crew earned an at-large bid to the 2019 NCAA Division III Rowing Championships, which will be held May 31-June 1 at the Indianapolis Rowing Center in Indianapolis, Ind. with Indiana University and the Indiana Sports Corporation serving as hosts.
Wesleyan women’s crew competed at the National Invitational Rowing Championship, in conjunction with the NESCAC Rowing Championships, on Sunday at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The Cardinals’ Third Varsity 8 boat won the Petite Final, while the Varsity 8 qualified for the Grand Final to take fourth while placing second in the NESCAC’s behind Bates.
The Wesleyan men’s and women’s rowing teams will compete for the 2019 NESCAC Rowing Championships Sunday, May 12, which will be held at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The NESCAC Championship is awarded based on performance in the first varsity eight grand final race at the National Invitational Rowing Championship (NIRC).
