    The Wesleyan men's and women's cross country teams earned 2019 NCAA Division III All-Academic Team accolades and 11 members earned individual honors, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
  • Men’s Cross Country Finishes Ninth at NCAA Regional, McMorrow Earns All-New England Accolades

    BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Wesleyan men’s cross country team finished ninth out of 54 teams at the NCAA Division III New England Regional on Saturday morning. The team recorded 306 points, placing all five runners in the top-80 in a field of 384 participants. Their place was the Cardinals’ best finish since 2015 when the squad recorded a program-best fourth.
  • Men’s Cross Country Competes at NESCAC Championship

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Wesleyan men’s cross country team competed in the 2019 NESCAC Championship on Saturday afternoon. The meet was hosted by Williams, with the 8K course on the grounds of Mount Greylock High School. The Ephs won their 18th title with just 22 points, as all five scorers placed in the top-10. Amherst finished second with 97 points, while Middlebury was third with 107. The Cardinals placed 11th with 258 points.
  • Men’s Cross Country Gears Up for NESCAC Championships

    MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men’s cross country team heads to Williamstown, Massachusetts on Saturday for the 2019 NESCAC Championships. The meet is hosted by Williams College and will take place at Mount Greylock High School. The men’s 8K race begins at noon, while the women’s 6K follows at 1:00 p.m.
  • Trio of Runners Record Personal-Best Times at Connecticut College Invite

    WATERFORD, Conn. – The Wesleyan men’s cross country team placed 13th out of 28 teams at the Connecticut College Invite on Saturday morning. This was the first appearance at Harkness Park for the Cardinals, as the men’s race covered an 8K course.
  • Men’s Cross Country Wins College White 8K at 46th Annual Paul Short Run

    BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Wesleyan men’s cross country team won the College White 8K at the 46th Annual Paul Short Run on Saturday morning. The Cardinals combined for a score of 104, edging our Cortland State (124) in a field of 43 teams. All five scorers placed within the top-40, while the entire squad placed within the top-100 of 348 runners.
  • Four Cardinals Compete at the Purple Valley Classic

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Four Wesleyan cross country Cardinals competed at the Purple Valley Classic hosted by Williams on Saturday. The group featured two male and two females, all of which raced in their first collegiate 5k.
  • Men’s Cross Country Hosts Little Three Championship

    MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men’s cross country team opened its 2019 campaign competing hosting the Little Three Championship. Williams claimed the title for the first time since 2016, snapping Amhert’s two-meet streak with 15 points. The Mammoths followed with 56, while the Cardinals finished with 73 points.
