  • Swimming & Diving Opens 2020 With Meet at Hamilton

    CLINTON, N.Y. – The Wesleyan men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams opened the new year with a dual meet at Hamilton on Saturday afternoon. The men’s team fell to the Continentals 137-124, while the women were topped by Hamilton 163-113.
  • Wesleyan Hosts Fifth Annual CT Cup

    MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams hosted the fifth annual CT Cup on Saturday afternoon. The men placed third out of six teams with 429.5, while the women came in third out of seven squads with 507 points. Coast Guard took home the victory on both the men’s (686 points) and women’s (520.5 points) side. The top-three teams on the women’s side were separated by just 13.5 points as Connecticut College placed second with 513.5 points.
  • Wesleyan Hosts No. 19 Amherst in Home Opener

    MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan men's swimming and diving teams hosted Little Three rival Amherst in its home opener on Monday evening. The No. 19 Mammoths topped the Cardinals 198-84 in the team's 106th meeting.
  • Tran Records Trio of First-Place Finishes in Dual Meet at Bates

    LEWISTON, Maine – The Wesleyan men’s swimming and diving team traveled to Bates for a dual meet on Saturday. The Cardinals were guided by first-year Eric Tran who recorded a trio of first-place finishes. The Bobcats won the meet 204-84.
  • Rookie Eric Tran Wins 200-yard Butterfly in Season Opener

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Wesleyan men's swimming and diving team opened the 2019-20 season with a quad meet hosted by Williams on Saturday. The Cardinals competed against No. 11 Williams, No. 12 Tufts and WPI. The meet was highlighted by a first-place finish from rookie Eric Tran in the 200-yard butterfly. Tran bested all athletes with a time of 1:57.52. The Cardinals' first-year competitors excelled as the group saw six top-10 finishes.
