The Cardinals looked to sweep the pair of contests, but Eph Kellen Hatheway hit a two-run homer in the ninth to lift Williams past Wesleyan, 5-3.

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Wesleyan baseball team (13-13) came from behind to defeat Coast Guard 9-5 in extra innings on Wednesday. Down 4-2 in the ninth inning, the Cardinals knotted the game 4-4 to send it into extra innings, before five runs in the 10th propelled Wesleyan past the Bears (15-16).
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Wesleyan baseball team (12-13) knocked off No. 11 Wheaton (25-7) on Tuesday afternoon with a 3-2 victory. The Cardinals scored three runs in the fifth, including a two-run double by Andrew Kauf, to propel themselves past the Lyons.
BRISTOL, R.I. – The Wesleyan baseball team (11-13) suffered a 7-0 loss on the road at Roger Williams (11-16) on Tuesday. This was just the third meeting between the two teams, as they split a pair of games last year in the inaugural doubleheader.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Wesleyan baseball team (10-11) outlasted Western New England University (14-8) to earn a 3-2 victory on the road on Thursday. With two outs and runners on first and third in the bottom of the eighth, Jake Alonzo struck out the first batter he faced to earn the save on the mound for the Cardinals.
The Wesleyan baseball team trailed by two runs for most of the game, but Hamilton pulled away with a three-run top of the eighth followed by an insurance run in the ninth to win 11-5 on Sunday afternoon at Dresser Diamond.

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Wesleyan baseball team opened it’s 2019 campaign on Sunday evening, falling to St. Thomas (Minn.) 11-3. The Cardinals had a quick turnaround and were outlasted by Carthage 14-8 on Monday.
