  • In what was a pitchers duel between Miceli and Chris Peres, the two teams combined for one hit and zero runs through the first five innings.
  • The Cardinals would load the bases in the sixth thanks to a single from Ryan Earle '19 and walks to Matt Jeye '18 and Miceli. Danny Rose '19 would force a walk to score the game's first runs and give Wesleyan a 1-0 lead.

  • An RBI groundout by Jacob Benson would make the score 11-6 in the bottom of the eighth, but that's as close as the Leopards would get as Wesleyan would claim the win.
