November 6, 2017 Women's Volleyball Volleyball to Play Wellesley in NCAA First Round The 2017 NESCAC Champions, the Wesleyan University volleyball team, will return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2001 and just the second time in program history. The Cardinals will face Wellesley College who earned an at-large bid from the NEWMAC after losing to MIT in the conference championships.
November 5, 2017 Women's Volleyball NESCAC CHAMPIONS! Wesleyan Rallies to Defeat Tufts, 3-1 The Wesleyan University volleyball team won its first-ever NESCAC Championship on Saturday as the second-seeded Cardinals rallied from a 1-0 deficit to defeat top-seeded Tufts University 3-1 by scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-14. With the win, the Cardinals automatically qualify for the NCAA Tournament and make their second appearance all-time in the postseason championships and first since 2001.

Rallies to Defeat Bowdoin, 3-1 For the first time since 2001 and just the second time in program history, the Wesleyan University volleyball team returns to the NESCAC finals as the second-seeded Cardinals came-from-behind to defeat third-seeded Bowdoin College Saturday (3-1) by scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-16 in the conference semifinals at Tufts. Wesleyan will play the Jumbos—the top-seed in the tournament—for a shot at its first-ever conference championship tomorrow at 12 p.m.
November 3, 2017 Women's Volleyball Cardinals Cruise Past Williams in NESCAC Quarterfinals, 3-0 For the first time since 2008, the Wesleyan University volleyball team has advanced to the semifinals of the NESCAC Tournament as the Cardinals swept Little Three rival Williams Friday night by scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-17. Wesleyan was impressive in victory, hitting .400 as a team as Harper Graves ’21 led the way with 15 kills and zero errors on 25 attempts for an incredible .600 attack clip. Additionally, Nicole Hilton ’20 registered 14 kills with just two errors for a .545 mark and Kaira Muraoka-Robertson ’20 dished out 37 assists.

November 1, 2017 Women's Volleyball Wesleyan Enters NESCAC Volleyball Championships as No. 2 Seed After posting an 8-2 record in conference play, including a 3-0 sweep over Bowdoin (8-2), the Wesleyan volleyball team secured the No. 2 seed in the 2017 NESCAC Championships hosted by top-seeded Tufts. The Cardinals, who are 18-5 overall and rank fourth in the New England regional rankings, will play Little Three rival and No. 7 seed Williams College Friday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m.
