December 31, 2017 Men's Basketball Wesleyan Drops First Game of Season to Springfield, 72-67 The 12th-ranked Wesleyan University men’s basketball team lost its first game of the 2017-18 season Sunday night against Springfield College, 72-67, at the Hampton Inn West Springfield/Naismith Classic. The Cardinals won at least nine-straight games to open the year for the second consecutive season—they won 11 in a row last year—and are now 9-1 overall. With the win, the Pride improves to 6-5.

December 9, 2017 Men's Basketball Hutcherson Scores 27 as Cardinals Rally to Defeat Brandeis, 71-61 The 18th-ranked Wesleyan University men’s basketball team overcame an early 15-0 deficit to rally and defeat Brandeis University on Saturday afternoon, 71-61. Freshman Austin Hutcherson finished with a season-high 27 points as he went 7-of-9 from downtown.
December 6, 2017 Men's Basketball Cardinals Win Seventh in a Row, Defeat Vassar 83-68 Jordan Bonner '18 led the way with a game-high 21 points as the No. 18 Wesleyan University men’s basketball team defeated Vassar College Wednesday night, 83-68. The Cardinals remain perfect this year with a 7-0 record while the Brewers remain winless and drop to 0-7 on the season.

December 2, 2017 Men's Basketball Wesleyan Edges No. 3 Williams in OT Thriller, 72-67 Jordan Bonner ’18 scored a game-high 22 points, including six in overtime, to help lead the Wesleyan University men’s basketball team to a thrilling 72-67 win on the road against No. 3 Williams College Saturday night. The game, which does not count towards the NESCAC standings, featured 14 ties and 14 lead changes with the largest margin a six-point Wesleyan lead in the opening minutes.
