Nathan Kill ’18 hit the game-winner from deep with :01.7 left on the clock to lift the fourth-seed and nationally-ranked No. 14 Wesleyan men’s basketball team to a thrilling 65-63 win over Little Three archrival and top-seeded Amherst on Saturday night in LeFrak Gymnasium. Krill posted a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds while hitting an incredible 7-of-11 shots from three-point range.

No. 14 Wesleyan to Play Little Three Rival Amherst in NESCAC Semifinals Saturday

Men's Basketball

Wesleyan (20-5)—seeded fourth in the NESCAC Men’s Basketball Championships and ranked No. 14 nationally—will play at top-seeded Amherst (17-8) this Saturday, Feb. 24 in the conference semifinals beginning at 5:30 p.m. in LeFrak Gymnasium. The winner of Saturday’s showdown will advance to the finals where they will face the winner of No. 2 Williams (20-5) versus No. 3 Hamilton (22-3) on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2:30 p.m.

No. 17 Wesleyan University (19-5, 7-3 NESCAC) earned the No. 4 seed in the 2018 NESCAC Men’s Basketball Championships and will host fifth-seeded and nationally-ranked No. 13 Middlebury College (19-5, 7-3 NESCAC) on Saturday, Feb. 17, at 3 p.m. in Silloway Gymnasium.
